Do you believe that women actually get paid less in the work place?

For the same job, a woman will be paid the same as a man - this is law. If overall, women are earning less than men, this is probably because they are still traditionally seen as the 'home-maker' and are still more likely to give up work when children come along. When they resume work, they have lost several years' earning capacity, and need to reboot their careers to get to where they would have been, if they had continued working.
